Description
Heatmax Izomax UnderWood heat and sound insulation seal is a thin insulation barrier that reflects heat upwards and makes the underfloor heating system more efficient. It is also an effective solution for noise on contact surfaces and noise on parquet surfaces. It is an effective insulation component for both hygienic and underfloor heating system with its high water repellent resistance height and moisture retention feature. Izomax Underwood Insulation Seal has a heat resistance of up to 0.19 (Rm value) and ……. has tremendous sound resistance values.
Note: We recommend applying our insulation seal to the entire area where heating is planned. It is used by applying heaters on thermal insulation.
Screed-Free System
Carbon heaters can be used for many types of flooring with their thin structure, but they cannot be screeded on. At this point, it can be used in conceived with isomax underwood technical seal for the following types of flooring.
- Laminate parquet with polyester moisture barrier
- With polyester moisture barrier in under-carpet applications
- In vinyl coatings with no passing system and adhesive
Screed System
Heaters are placed on the isomax technical seal, which is placed/ glued to a clean and smooth floor. Screed is thrown over the heater. After the screed is dry, it is suitable for all types of flooring (Vinyl adhesives must be heat sensitive, nail or duct hammering to the floor should be controlled in carpet or wood coatings).
- Suitable for all types of flooring in new construction projects
- In renovation projects that do not cause problems to rise the ground
Ceramic Mortar Subsystem
Heaters are placed after the isomax technical seal placed / glued on the existing screed. The pre-ceramic bonding mortar is applied to the floor enough to cover the heating cables and left to dry. After the floor is dry, the ceramic application is laid together with glue.
- Pre-ceramic use on existing screed floors
- In cases where the floor rises with the screed, ceramic / kalebodur / marble etc. under the floors
