Description
Fire Prevention Sprinkler Line Frost Prevention Pipe Heating Cable
Metal pipes used in fire prevention systems must be constantly loaded with water due to their structure. Deformation, cracking or ruptures can be seen in the pipes by expanding the freezing water in the external environment where the temperature can be extremely low. Equipment health and the continuous readiness of the system are of great importance. Suitable heating cables and equipment are included in the product to keep the sprinkler system at +4C, except for the current technical specification or guidance of technical personnel based on heat loss calculations.
The system; h-max heat trace cables or S-max series fixed power cables are installed on the pipe. After the installation of the heating cable, it is recommended to close the pipe with heat insulation. They are stocked as 10Watt, 20Watt, 30Watt at 10C as standard. You can contact for different power options.
Single row cable in metal pipe up to DN100 under 50mm thermal insulation (h-max 20Watt )
It is recommended to use two rows of cables (h-max 20Watt) between DN100 and DN150 under 50mm thermal insulation.
Regardless of insulation in plastic pipes, 10Watt should be preferred at H-Max 10C.
Our H-Max series self-regulating heating cables are the right choice for sprinkler line heating as they can regulate their own temperature and operate without the need for an external control unit. Due to the fact that the cable can be cut in the field, it offers easy installation in pipes with different isometrics and diameters.
