Description
The thermostat is a temperature switch and works on the principle of expansion of gas or liquid. The switching of the relay contact is carried out within the hysteresis limits according to the set maintenance temperature. The electrical switching device is a microswitch (without an additional power supply) enclosed in a fireproof housing. Supports the connection of armored cables with jacket-on-armour sealing.
When the temperature of the sensor drops below the set point (switching differential), the microswitch is activated via the conduction mechanism and the power circuit is closed (contacts 1-2). At the same time, the signal circuit opens (contacts 1-4).
If the sensor temperature exceeds the set value (switching difference), the microswitch is triggered and the power circuit opens (contacts 1-2). The signal circuit is closed (contacts 1–4)
- It is used where it is difficult to reach the heating circuit, it must be located close to it or for ex-proof environment needs.
- Max. switching capacity 25 A
- Signal open contact
- Maintenance-free clamp terminals
- Operating temperature -55 …+50 °C
- Thermostat is RoHS compliant and cadmium free
