Description
It is a central connection element that can be evaluated for pipe heating applications and different heating solutions. It is designed for connecting high temperature cables to the mains. It is recommended to contact the company before purchasing for boxes suitable for Exproof, Atex explosive atmosphere.
The box can be mounted to a wall, a nearby metal structure, or directly to the pipeline using a bracket. The choice of mounting option also depends on the temperature of the heated system (pipeline). At a pipeline temperature above 200 °C, it is recommended that the box be mounted on a wall or adjacent metal structure. This box allows two sections of heating cable to be connected in a loop configuration or three sections in a star configuration.

- The junction box is mounted on the wall and the necessary connection accessories are shipped together.
- The cable glands of the box are designed to connect non-armored power cables with a diameter of 7 to 18 mm or armored power cables with a diameter of 12 to 20 mm.
- The fitted terminal blocks allow connecting multi-core or single-core cables with a cross section of 1.5 to 10 mm2.
- The box design has IP66 and high corrosion stability.
